The Hanuman Bahuk sings the glories of Shri Hanumanji and was written by Goswami Tulsidasji to relieve him of intense pain.
Whereas Lord Shiva ordered Rishi Budhakaushika in his dream to write the Ramraksha Stotra.Since Shri Hanumanji is considered to be the eleventh incarnation of Shiva we can say that he composed the Ramraksha stotra to please Lord Rama his isht or favoured deity.
When the Hanuman Bahuk and Ramraksha Stotra are read one after the other in quick succession they become a great asset in alleviating the suffering of mankind.
